The instrumentation development group operatesor is involved in the exploitation of the following diagnostics on the tokamaks TEXTOR, ASDEX-UG and JET.

 

  • The ECE-imaging system (in collaboration with UC Davis) at TEXTOR and ASDEX Upgrade
     
  • Multi-pulse incoherent Thomson Scattering (TS) at TEXTOR
     
  • Charge Exchange Recombination Spectroscopy (CXRS) at TEXTOR and JET
     
  • Motional Stark effect (MSE) (in collaboration with ANU) at TEXTOR
     
  • Infrared observation of Synchrotron emission
