Microwave Diagnostics on LHD and application to Industry

KASTEC laser and microwave group has participated diagnostic development 
program on Large Helical Device at National Institute for Fusion 
Science, Japan. Recently, main focus has been on a pulse reflectometry 
system and electron cyclotron emission imaging system. In this talk, a 
progress of these systems will be discussed. At the same time the group 
has been strongly coupled to microwave-related industries in mainly 
Kyushu area to develop a collaborative programs. This includes 
development plan for a new product and possible improvement of existing 
products.
