  abstract = {By ramping the energy of the electron beam on a microsecond timescale, a frequency chirp on a picosecond timescale has been induced. The results of such an experiment are discussed as well as the results of an external pulse chirping experiment. Furthermore, the output of FELIX under normal operating conditions is investigated. For the first time a detailed series of measurements of the evolution of the optical micropulse into a train of subpulses is made when FELIX operates in the limit-cycle mode.},
