This matchmaking event brings together stakeholders in the field of energy innovation to prepare a Call for Proposals for Materials for (energy) Sustainability (M4S).
NWO will open a large call (9-12 M€) for proposals on "Materials for (energy) Sustainability (M4S)", in an effort to create a program addressing innovation priorities of the Top Sectors Energy and Chemistry and driven by the societal challenge of the transition to a sustainable energy system. The program aims to answer material-related questions on both fundamental and more applied levels, and expects breakthroughs for energy innovations from public-private research partnerships and excellent basic science.

NWO will host a matchmaking event at DIFFER. We invite you as a stakeholder in the field of energy innovation, to briefly pitch your idea, your question, your challenge or your envisioned gamechanger, and to speed-date with prospective research partners who can enhance your probability of success.
We will also briefly present the conditions for applying as a consortium and the procedure of granting.
