China is playing an increasingly important role on the world stage. The Chinese government openly proclaims that it wants to play an active role in reforming the global governance system. This has a direct impact on international human rights. This seminar discusses Chinese visions and narratives regarding international politics and human rights. It furthermore hones in on the Uyghur human rights crisis and its international implications.
