DICE is a new set-up that will allow DIFFER to study material damage, more precise corrosion caused by neutrons. This is relevant for nuclear fusion, as well as fission applications in generation-4 molten salt reactors. DICE is connected to the Ion Beam Facility (IBF). The new set-up is open to guest scientists and companies. It is sponsored by the Province of North-Brabant.
