We are pleased to invite you to the ICMS/DIFFER Advanced Materials, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence symposium, taking place on 8 October 2026 at the ICMS Ceres building (Building 7) at TU/e.
This symposium will bring together researchers in chemistry, materials science, physics, robotics and artificial intelligence to explore how automated and autonomous experimentation can transform the discovery and understanding of advanced materials. The program will cover the integration of materials synthesis, high-throughput characterization, data infrastructures, and AI-guided experimental design in closed-loop research.
Invited speakers will present complementary approaches ranging from computational and AI-guided materials discovery to robotic chemistry, self-driving laboratories, materials acceleration platforms, and automated discovery of functional and energy materials. The program will also include poster presentations, demonstrations, and opportunities for discussion and networking.
