Interreg grant EnOp: CO2 for energy storage

The Flemish-Dutch Interreg programme subsidizes crossborder projects. In the programme's subtheme of sustainable energy, Hasselt University, Antwerp University and DIFFER are starting the joint EnOp project to recycle CO2 into fuels using sustainable energy. Using a plasma reactor to dissociate CO2, they aim to generate clean syngas, a crucial intermediate resource for the production of hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, and synthetic hydrocarbon fuels.Read more (Dutch)
