DIFFER and Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) signed a two-year Statement of Work to advance the realization of fusion energy. The collaboration project aims to develop a framework for exhaust control, including models, observers, and controllers for CFS’s SPARC fusion machine.

DIFFER and Toyota are jointly developing a unique reactor to capture COշ from the air and store it efficiently, using sunlight. An invention that contributes significantly to reducing COշ emissions. During summer 2024, Toyota presented a prototype of the CO2 capturing device at an event in Paris.
