Fusion Research Activities at SWIP

This talk includes a general introduction of Southwestern Institute of Physics (SWIP), Chengdu, China. All its 3 sub-units will be introduced, including the Center for Fusion Science, the Plasma Application Center and the Engineering and Technical College. The focus will be put on the fusion research activities at SWIP, which emphasizes on 1) tokamak program of HL-2A and HL-2M; 2) fusion reactor materials and PWI; 3) key fusion technology and reactor design; and 4) the progress of ITER procurement packages at SWIP. Collaborative research topics will also be proposed.
