Seminar, to
DIFFER event
During the past couple of decades, optical frequency comb spectroscopy has matured from theoretical calculation and limited lab demonstration to a powerful tool suitable for different practical applications. These applications are quite diverse: from environmental monitoring, study of chemical reactions, combustion analysis and plasma study to pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics.
Workshop,
DIFFER event
The first workshop organised in the frame of the KEROGREEN project will be held at DIFFER. It will focus on plasma catalytic processes and how these can be applied for production of renewable fuels and chemicals.Several presentations as well as a poster session will give an overview of current appraoches and projects on this subject.
Seminar, to
DIFFER event
Metal fuels have been proposed as advanced storage and transport systems for clean energy, because of their inherently low safety risk and high energy densities. To ensure a clean metal fuel energy cycle, metal fuel utilization products, i.e., metal oxide powders, need to be captured and cyclically reduced back into metal fuel powder via advanced technology that is powered by renewable energy.
Seminar, to
DIFFER event
In the dawning age of sustainability, energy harvesting and dissipation at interfaces play a crucial role for processes that feed and fuel our modern societies. At the atomic scale, the vibrational lifetime of small molecular adsorbates can provide detailed information about the molecular dynamics of energy exchange with the surface [1].
Symposium,
DIFFER event
The symposium Solar-to-products brings together the broad community working on converting solar energy to fuels and products. It is organized by TKI-BBE, NWO and DIFFER. In particular researchers are invited who participate(d) in the NWO programmes Solar-to-Products, Materials-for-Sustainability, CO2-Neutral-Fuels and Towards Biosolar Cells.
