“The committee concludes that the research is of outstanding quality and is well-received by peers as well as potential industrial partners and users” and “DIFFER is well-equipped for the future” can be read in the assessment report of DIFFER, carried out as part of the Strategy Evaluation Protocol (SEP).

DIFFER’s PhD candidate Tess van Eeden has won a Best Poster Award at the Low Temperature Plasma Diagnostics conference, where researchers in the field of low-temperature plasma diagnostics come together to exchange knowledge and experiences. This year, the conference took place from April 28th to May 2nd at Liblice Castle near Prague, Czech Republic.

With a crowded room and a programme that captivated until the last minute, we look back on a successful first edition of the Dutch Fusion Day in Eindhoven. An energising day that brought together a group of 200 scientists, representatives of high-tech companies and government officials.

Part of DIFFER’s strategy is to open up our facilities to more users. Successful international collaborations are important to achieve this and to bring future energy a step closer.
