Thanks to funding through the NWO Open Technology Programme the research project ‘Development of additively manufactured tungsten heat shields for nuclear fusion’ can start. This project will exploit the unique infrastructure that is developed between TU/e and DIFFER as part of the Liquid Metal Shield laboratory (LiMeS-lab).
EUROfusion Researcher Grant 2025
The EUROfusion consortium for the realisation of fusion energy has awarded sixteen EUROfusion “Bernard Bigot” Researcher Grants (ERG) to talented post-doctoral researchers across Europe. The ERG grants enable early-career researchers to develop innovative ideas and techniques to advance EUROfusion’s Roadmap to Fusion Energy.

The HyPRO consortium, arising from the GroenvermogenNL programme, will receive a grant of 34,511,995 euro. With contributions from industry added, 50,197,611 euro will allow the consortium to research more sustainable production of hydrogen.
Open dag DIFFER 2024
Op 5 en 6 oktober 2024 is het weer zover: het Weekend van de Wetenschap. Een weekend waarin iedereen een kijkje achter de schermen kan nemen bij organisaties en instellingen in de wetenschap en techniek. Ook in Eindhoven, waar diverse organisaties hun deuren openen voor het publiek.
