Registration is open for the 48th European Conference on Plasma Physics. The conference will be held online from June 27 to July 1 2022. Early bird tickets are available until 29 April. DIFFER's Thomas Morgan wil give a plenary talk.

DIFFER researcher Purushothaman Varadhan has acquired a Marie Curie Fellowship. This European grant will allow him to spend two years researching low-cost and environmentally friendly ways to produce hydrogen. He will conduct the research at Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh (UK).

DIFFER researchers have demonstrated that coupling between electrolysis and plasmolysis leads to a novel route for CO2 conversion. The researchers are working in the frame of KEROGREEN, which is a European project on conversion of CO2 into green liquid fuels.
