FLTPD X will take place at the congress centre Rolduc in Kerkrade which is an old convent located in the south-east of the Netherlands at the Dutch-Belgian-German border. In order to enable close contacts among the participants, everyone will stay at the conference site. The participants will be accommodated in single and double rooms. Rolduc is approximately 15 km from Aix-la-Chapelle (Aachen). Aachen was the favored residence place of Charlemagne and later the coronation place of the kings of Germany. The historical Dutch town Maastricht is at 30 km of the conference venue. Travel information In the Netherlands there are train connections to the conference site from Amsterdam airport – Schiphol (3 hours) and Eindhoven (1h 30min). Participants coming from Belgium, France and Germany or arriving at airports located in these countries can travel to the station of Herzogenrath, at walking distance from the conference site, from Aachen. The trip from Aachen station to Herzogenrath is only 20 minutes by train. Many high speed international trains from Germany, France and Belgium stop at the station in Aachen.
